100% Symphony grape, a crossing of Muscat of Alexandria and Grenache Gris. Off-dry with bright fruit and citrus—it's why the word "mouth-watering" came to be.A muscat nose of captivating floral aromas and hints of apricots, melon, almonds and spice. Flavors of white peach and pineapple culminate in a symphony of succulent citrus with high notes of red grapefruit. Symphony was developed in 1948 by Dr. Harold Olmo of nearby UC Davis. Thus, it's a true variety of California. It contributes a distinct melodious counterpoint to Nello's emboldened family of much louder wines. Medium-light body, medium acidity. Serve well chilled and pair with light fare or even spicy foods such as Thai cuisine and Indian curry. Or just sip by itself with a bite of any creamy cheese.
