I the 1970's a renegade Italian winemaker created the first Super Tuscan by breaking the rules.  He blended Sangiovese- the holy gail of Italian wines-with non-Italian Cabernet.  Nello joins the creative blending rebellion each year with a new Super Tuscan style wine fusion.  This 2019 entry unites Barbera and Sangiovese with hints of Merlot and Petite Sirah for a surprising, well balanced, and mouth-watering rule bender.

A portion of this bottle's proceeds supports the fight against childrens cancer.

This wine's full-bodied elegance, smooth balance, and ageless qualities conjure dark visions of blackberry, blueberry, and plum. Crafted to honor the Victorian era residents whose ghostly presence lingers here, it seems well-appointed to host dignitaries in the quaint parlor or to accompany best dressed soirees in the cadlelit ballroom.
